What does your business do?
We do every aspect of hard floor tiling. We do domestic work mainly; that’s what we’ve been focusing on.
On how many jobs have you quoted?
We’ve quoted on not far from 50 jobs.
How many customers have you won?
We’ve won 5 so far.
Is ServiceSeeking.com.au successful in winning your work?
Yes, we’ve won work that has ranged from $400 up to $7,500. In total, we’ve won almost $20,000. This has more than covered the cost of the credits spent.
What other types of marketing does your business do?
We rely just on ServiceSeeking.com.au at the moment. We would like to advertise on True Local as well, but at the moment, it’s not worth it for us. We’ve just been using free listings, and this has been working well. We looked at using the Yellow Pages, but we thought it was a little old-fashioned. These days, most people get online when they want to get work done.
Any tips for new businesses?
Make sure you are licensed and have good experience. These are essential basic things. You need to make this clear to customers and have a memorable company name.
