Record savings on ServiceSeeking.com.au

James saved $100,000 by using ServiceSeeking.com.au – yes, that’s right: $100,000 big ones!

Last year, James organised his kitchen renovation through our site and saved a stack of money ($15,000 to be exact)!

It comes as no surprise then that he decided to come back to ServiceSeeking.com.au when approval finally came through for the addition to his Crows Nest semi.

James received quotes from 21 interested building companies and got 3 to come out to give a formal quote, before finally selecting BHE Building for the job.

He says it was the company’s professional nature that gave them the edge and not the price. “They offered us recommendations, as well as an exact breakdown of how much everything would cost.”

Although James didn’t choose the cheapest company he says he still saved at least $100,000 by organising the extension through our ServiceSeeking.com.au – that’s a lot of cash!

I popped by a couple of weeks ago to see how work was progressing and James took me on a tour of the site.

The BHE Building team had already been hard at work erecting the frame, and I could see the new bedroom, walk-in-wardrobe, bathroom and cellar (James’ favourite part!) taking shape (see picture left).

“So far, the process has been so smooth,” says James. “All the small details have been considered including reinforcing the roof to cope with the heavy stone bath.”

With a hole for a roof, things are currently a little “breezy” inside, so James and his wife, Iona, have been staying with friends.  But they won’t be there for too much longer – works are on track to be completed in 6 weeks.
