Pet stains

Let it soak for a few minutes, blot, rinse, and then repeat as needed. Alternatively, you can substitute white vinegar for the laundry detergent and follow the same procedure.

Coffee stains 
If you love your cuppa, then your carpet’s bound to have a stain or two. If not properly removed, coffee stains can leave your carpet looking like a mess. Its yellowish-brown colour can easily be mistaken as a pet’s mess. To restore your carpet’s cleanliness, remove as much liquid as you can first. Make sure to blot with several cloths to avoid spreading the stain. Afterwards, try the vinegar and water solution. Rinse and repeat if necessary.
Ink stains
With all the nasty stains out there, ink stains are probably the worst. Never fear; with some household products and lightning reflexes, you can remove these stains easily. First, make sure to use a clean white cloth. Dampen it with isopropyl alcohol, then dab gently on the carpet. Soak for a few seconds and vacuum. Never scrub or rub, as it would cause the ink to spread. Test this solution on a small, inconspicuous patch of the carpet before proceeding.
