What if a lead isn’t a genuine opportunity?

You can get a credit refund when a lead is not a genuine job.

If you come across a lead that:

  • has an incorrect phone number (the customer is not the person who picks up the call), or
  • has a disconnected phone number, or
  • is in the wrong category (you’re matched to Plumbing leads for example but receive a lead that requires an Electrician instead), or
  • is an exact duplicate of a lead you’ve already received,
  • is not an opportunity to do paid work for a potential customer,

you can contact support@serviceseeking.com.au and let us know about it. We'll try to contact the customer and if we can’t confirm the lead is genuine, we’ll give you a credit for that lead (unless you are on an Unlimited Subscription).

When we won't give credit refunds

Here are some circumstances when we will not refund lead credits;

  • When the customer hasn't left their phone number. Sometimes customers prefer to be contacted online. This is still a genuine lead because the customer receives your messages to their email address. If this is an issue, we recommend you opt out of receiving leads where the customer has not provided a valid phone number in your lead settings).
  • When the job needs to be done on a date you are not available. Unfortunately we cannot control for your availability. Any opportunity for a business to do paid work for a customer is considered a lead whether you are available or not.
